This blog is dedicated to featuring executive directors and their NPO's in a forum that lets them share their best fund raising ideas and receive progressive marketing tips.  We encourage NPO's to share this with their constituents and to post ideas and thoughts that might help others.

Kristin Huffman is the creator of The Powerful Image Events, a series that teaches NPO's and businesses to work together powerfully and synergistically to create funds and PR.  She is a professor at Western CT State University and The University of Hartford and is a sought after Keynote speaker and lecturer.

With 20 years of event planning experience and a Broadway career, she is entertaining and business savvy all in one package.
Finally, Kristin is the daughter of a Lutheran minister and her family performed for churches, and non profits all through her life.  This led to the creation of the Powerful Image events and her blog and articles in the Milford Mirror.  She was Miss Ohio and a runner-up to Miss America where her platform issue concerned drawing attention to as many wonderful non profits as she could.
